Why Mission and Youth?

Many of our youth would be enriched if they could make the connection between their desire to respond to the need they see in the world and God's story at work in their lives. Youth have this deep concern for others, yet often miss that this is God at work in their lives stirring their passion to love God and neighbor.

We can walk with them in a mutual discovery of God's story being played out before our eyes in our lives, in our faith communities, in our world, and how these all connect. We can move from vague stirrings to an engagement that is conscious of and fully embracing God's call, Gods mission.

God, in Christ Jesus, is at work in the world, bringing shalom. Let's find various ways to share this story.

     What is the story? Where is God at work in the          world? How and where are we called to join in?
