Do you need a microphone to speak? Do you need a platform? Do you need a large audience? Not really. You just need a story.
Sometimes we get to speak in front of tons of people. Another time, it's just one person. There are times when we're with a group of friends. Whoever/wherever it is, all we need is our story. Our story gives us something to talk about.

What can our story do? It can help someone who is struggling to be strong. It can explain to someone why we do the things we do and why we have the peace we have. This story can make someone pause and consider life and where they're headed; whether or not they need a new direction. | God's story at work in our lives, gives us a story that brings strength, healing, conviction, and change. It's important to talk about it.
Oftentimes, when we talk about mission and witnessing and sharing God's story, we limit it to actions. But why do we act and, how will people know why we do the things we do? Of course we don't always need words, but there will be times when words are needed and will be helpful. What's your story? How will you share it? If someone said to you, why did you help me, could you say because God loves me, because Jesus died for me and God loves you too? Or suppose someone said to you, why are you so bold, could you say because I prayed and God gave me strength?
You don't need to be aggressive about it. You don't need to be offensive. Just share and pray in your hear and allow the Holy Spirit to do the rest. If it is appropriate to ask the person whether or not they want to be a part of God's story, do so respectfully and leave it with God. Imagine someone who had discovered a cure for a major disease keeping it to him or herself? Good news is to be shared, in word, and deed, and attitude. So why are you kind and loving? Why do you go to church, to youth group? Why do you go on mission trips? Etc.

There are great places to tell your story: with your friends, online, when you're out and about at school, at the mall, or when you're just plain doing good.

Jesus once sent someone out to talk about what Jesus had done for him: Mark 5:1-20.
Spend some time figuring out the who, what, where, when, and why of this story. Then look at verses 19 and 20:
But Jesus refused, and said to him, ‘Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy he has shown you.’ And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed.
That must have taken some courage. But this man had a story.

When do you naturally have opportunities to talk about what Jesus has done for you?
What has Jesus done for you that you can talk about?
Prepare and share a short skit in which you can tell your story of God's love in your day to day life.
